It is an essential and crucial job of the school to keep parents updated on their kid’s activities throughout the day. The better parents are abreast with what their kid is up to at their school, the stronger your relationship with them gets.
The Activities module helps your center share real-time updates with parents about a child’s day — from photos and meals to learning moments and announcements. This keeps families informed, engaged, and connected to classroom experiences.
Before you start posting activities, you can also control which activity types appear in your portal and customize them based on your center’s needs. Let’s walk through everything step by step.
Manage Activity Types (Enable/Disable or Create New)
Every center operates differently, so Illumine allows you to decide which activity types should be visible and used by your staff.
You can:

Where to manage this

Toggle the Activity Status to:

Inactive → hidden from activity posting
Click Save.
This helps you show only the activities relevant to your center.
