We’ve introduced new Notification Preference Settings and enhancements to the Notification Center for both parents and staff. These updates give users more control over the notifications they receive, how they receive them, and how they review notifications across centers.

Notification Preference Settings

Customize your notifications

Choose notification type
Users can manage notifications by selecting:

  • Category

  • Sub-category

  • Individual notification

Select notification channels
For each notification, users can choose their preferred delivery method:

  • Email

  • In-app notification

  • Push notification

Note: Some notification channels may not be available for certain notification types.

Notification Popover

Quick access to recent notifications

Center visibility
The popover indicates whether notifications are for the current center or across all centers.

Mark as read
Users can mark notifications as read directly from the popover.

View all notifications
A “View all” option navigates users to the full Notifications page.

Filter and manage notifications

Unread or all notifications
Toggle between viewing unread notifications or all notifications.

Center selection
Filter notifications by:

  • All centers, or

  • One or multiple selected centers

Date range filtering
View notifications from the last 30 days (default).

Module-based filters
Filter notifications by module, including:

  • Unread

  • Parent updates

  • Activities

  • Attendance

  • Events

This center or All Assigned Centers
Users can choose to receive notifications for:

  • Their assigned center, or

  • All centers they have access to (based on permissions)
