Now that you’ve set up your school details and access controls, it’s time to onboard your staff and students. This is essential to get everyone onto the platform and ensure smooth operations from Day 1.
👩🏫 1. Add Staff Members
Go to: Management → Staff
Start by adding all your staff — this includes:
Center Heads
Teachers
Support Staff (helpers, drivers, etc.)
For each staff member:
Assign the appropriate Role (based on what you created in Step 1)
Link them to a Classroom
Enter their contact details (either phone or email is required)
📌 Tip: Ensure roles are pre-configured under Settings → Access Control before assigning them here.
🧒 2. Add Students
Go to: Management → Students
Each student should be:
Added to at least one classroom
Linked with their parents or guardians
Once added, you can view each student’s profile and manage their records, communication, and daily logs.
🚀 Bulk Onboarding
To onboard multiple students efficiently:
Click the "⋮" icon (three vertical dots) in the student panel.
Choose Bulk Onboarding to upload a list of students in one go.
We recommend doing this if you're onboarding a large group at once.
✉️ 3. Send Invites to Staff
Once staff details are added:
Go to: Management → Staff
Click on each staff member’s profile and hit Send Invite.
They’ll receive:
Login credentials
Download links for the Illumine Web and Mobile Apps
🔐 Important: You must enter at least one contact method (email or phone number) to send invites.
4. Send Invites to Parents
Parents need access to track their child’s activities, communicate with the school, and receive updates.
Go to: Management → Students
You have two options:
Use the "⋮" menu to invite all parents at once
Or, go into each student’s profile and select Send Parent Invite
Parents will receive:
Their login credentials
A download link for the Illumine Parent App
📌 Reminder: At least one parent contact (email or phone) must be entered for each student to send invites.
