Managing Student & Staff Leaves
The Leaves section in Illumine helps you track, create, and manage leave records for both students and staff in one place.

You can add new leave entries, view past records, filter by date or classroom, and keep attendance records accurate.
This ensures your center always has clear visibility on who is on leave and when.
Where to Find Leaves
From the left menu:

βAttendance & Leaves β Staff Leaves
Both sections work in a similar way and allow you to view and create leave records easily.
Student Leaves
Use this section to manage planned or unplanned student absences.

View Student Leave Records
When you open Student Leaves, youβll see a list view with:
Student name
Applied date
Leave type
Leave dates
Status
Reason
You can filter using the top filters:
Leave period
Date range
Room
Student
Leave type
This helps you quickly find specific leave records.
Add a New Student Leave
Go to Attendance & Leaves β Student Leaves
Click New Leave
Select the student(s)
Fill in the required details:
Leave type
Leave dates
Reason for leave
Attachment (optional)
Click Save
The leave will now be recorded in the system. You can also select multiple students at once and apply leave in bulk.

Staff Leaves
Use this section to record leave requests for teachers and staff members.
View Staff Leave Records
Navigate to: Attendance & Leaves β Staff Leaves
Youβll see:
Staff name
Applied date
Leave type
Leave dates
Status
Reason
Use filters at the top to sort by:
Date range
Room
Role
Staff name
Leave type
Add a New Staff Leave
Go to Attendance & Leaves β Staff Leaves
Click New Leave
Select staff members
Enter:
Leave dates
Leave type
Reason
Attachment (optional)
Click Save
The leave entry will be added and reflected in attendance records. You can apply leave for multiple staff members at once if needed.
