Enquiries Module – Complete Step-by-Step Guide

The Enquiries module in illumine helps you manage all incoming leads and registrations in one place. From capturing new enquiries to automating follow-ups and tracking conversions, this module ensures a smooth admission and enrolment process for your center.

This guide walks you through everything you need to know to set up and manage enquiries effectively.

Managing Enquiry Statuses and Sources

Statuses and sources help you organize and track where enquiries are coming from and what stage they are in.

How to manage statuses

  1. Go to Enquiries

  2. Click Settings

  3. Configure Enquiry Status

Here you will see default statuses and You can:

  • Add new statuses

  • Reorder them using drag-and-drop

  • Assign colors for visual tracking

  • Edit existing statuses

Important notes:

  • Admitted and Lost/Closed Lost are default statuses and cannot be deleted.

  • You can edit the β€œLost” status name and add reasons (e.g., high fees, no response, location issue).

  • These reasons will appear when marking an enquiry as lost.

How to manage sources

Sources help you track where enquiries come from (e.g., website, walk-in, referral).

  1. Go to Enquiries β†’ Settings

  2. Click on Configure Source & Sub source List for Enquiries

  3. Enter source name and sub source name

The new source will now appear while creating enquiries and in filters.
