Inquiries - Tracking & Automation Enhancements | Mar 2026

We’ve rolled out a set of enhancements to the Inquiries module to improve tracking, streamline workflows, and enable smarter follow-ups. This should help teams manage inquiries more efficiently from first contact to conversion.


What’s New

Setup Enhancements

Improved source tracking

Sources with sub-sources
You can now define sub-sources under each source, enabling more granular tracking of where inquiries are coming from. Navigate to Inquiries -> Setup to manage the list.


Better customization controls

Rename stages
Admins can now rename inquiry stages to match their internal workflows.

Consistent color palettes
Color options have been standardized to maintain consistency across the platform.


Fields & Data Structure

Organised field management

3 structured sections introduced
Fields are now grouped into three clear sections, improving usability and setup clarity. Navigate to Inquiries -> Setup -> Fields to manage

Link student fields
You can now easily link student fields directly within inquiry setup, reducing duplication and ensuring consistency.


Inquiries Experience

Default card view

Card view as default
The Inquiries module now opens in a card view, providing a more visual and intuitive experience.


Enhanced table view

Improved filters
Quick filters now include:

  • All

  • Status-wise

  • Archived

Customizable columns
Reorder fields (including Custom fields) using Configure Columns for a personalized view.

New columns added

  • Tasks column: Shows the latest upcoming task (merged with follow-ups)

  • Last Activity column: Displays the most recent activity (including tasks)

Inquiry summary cards

  • Total Inquiries

  • Pending Tasks (including overdue tasks)


Inquiry Detailed View

Smart insights

Auto-tagging
Inquiries are automatically categorized as:

  • Hot, Warm, Cold

Suggested actions
The system recommends next steps based on inquiry status.

Quick profile access
Easily navigate to the full student profile using "View Profile" button on left panel.


Activity Feed Enhancements

Unified activity tracking

Tasks and follow-ups merged
Follow-ups are now fully integrated into Tasks, allowing:

  • Creation of multiple follow-ups

  • All follow-ups are to be visible and managed from the Tasks page

    You can also View Overdue ( Planned) and Completed activities (Past) on the page.

Task types supported
Tasks now support:

  • Custom task types. You can add your own Type field here.

  • A default “Follow Up” type has been made available.

View comments on each task, activity easily

  • See comment counts

Access and add comments directly within the same view


Improved usability

  • Quick action buttons for faster updates

  • Filters for activity feed

  • Updated card layout for better readability

Unified Notes with Others

Notes and Others are now merged into a single, unified experience, reducing fragmentation.

Custom subtypes (new)
You can now define custom subtypes (under “Others”), which will also be available in reports.

My Tasks vs All Tasks
Easily switch between personal and team-wide tasks.

Follow-ups included
All follow-ups are now managed within the Tasks module.

Improved form handling

  • View new inquiries directly from form submissions

  • Handle form submissions linked to existing inquiries
